Web Round-up

Here's some stuff too small to warrant their own posts.  Click on the linked text to check it all out.
  • I'd be thanking my lucky stars for global warming if it kills this off.  They've discovered a fungus in the Brazilian rain forest that turns ants into zombies.  You know how I feel about zombies.  It's only a matter of time...  Also, The Atlantic has an article on zombies.  See, it's not just me.
  • I love this video and this song.  Does it look any different to you if you know that the actor/dancer, Aaron Johnson, is only 20 years old and that the director of this video is 2x cancer survivor, Sam Taylor-Wood, his 44 year-old fiance and mother of his newborn daughter?
  • This article is a follow-up to Amy Chua's book and explains why her parenting style makes us upset, beyond the obvious child abuse aspects.  I guess I have a slightly different perspective.  Having had an "unwell" child changes your expectations, all I desire for my children is health and happiness and that they would contribute meaningfully to society in some way.
