My Out of Control Life

Please excuse my tardiness in posting this week.  We have so much going on in our lives right now, my stress level is off the charts.  I don't want to give away any details until things are squared away, but even the most calm and level-headed person would be running around in a tizzy if they were in our shoes.  I'm hoping that within the month things will settle down and I will let everyone know what's going on.  Past experience has taught me to keep my mouth shut about things until the answer is known or the situation resolved.  It's better to let people know after the fact, rather than jumping the gun and telling everyone beforehand and then having to go back and explain that something didn't work out.

Even the day-to-day of the last week has been piling up.  I had three days of dirty dishes beside the sink because I didn't have time to get to them.  I've been running around to doctor's appointments, school outings, etc. as well as endless business phone calls.  Today's snowstorm forced the cancellation of at least one appointment and allowed a much needed home day.  Multiple nights of laying awake fretting has given me a haggard appearance and near constant headache and occasional stomachache, although the stomachache might also be caused by stress eating.  I think I'll be breaking out the Ativan tonight so that I can get some sleep!

For those of you in Medicine Hat, please consider attending Dr. Raj Sherman's appearance with Friends of Medicare at 7:30 pm on Saturday, February 19 at the Public Library Theatre.  You don't need to be a FOM member to attend.
